About Our Program

A Truly Unique Tour of the Roman Empire and Italian Peninsula

Launched in 2009, the History of Rome Tours are a collaboration between Mike Duncan’s History of Rome Podcast series and Educational World Travel USA. Painstakingly researched and focused exclusively on the Roman Empire, The History of Rome Tours are an immersive, experiential program that features off-the-beaten-track destinations like the actual battlefield of Cannae and insightful narration and commentary at “must-see” sights like the Roman Forum. Oh, and there’s quite a bit of fun to be had along the way!!
